Rock Climbing Adventure!

Thanks to Miss Blair, Miss royfee, Miss Todd, Andrea, Jacqie and Tanya For transport . On June the 20th the year 7 and 8 students from Rimu class went ROCK CLIMBING at Cattlestop crag in the port hills for the second William Pike outdoor challenge. When we got there there was a beautiful view and we could see all the houses and buildings.

When we got there we had two instructors, Steven and Josh and they told us that to be successful we need to take pride and resilience in our everyday life. These were the two values we were focusing on today .They told us that we will be ROCK CLIMBING and ABSEILING. I had not done ABSEILING before so I was excited.

I tried the rock climbing first and I decided to do the easiest one and I did it easily. When I got to the top I felt really proud of myself and wanted to challenge myself with a harder climb. I did all 5 climbs and had completed all the levels. I was really proud when I got to the top of the last one because I was the first one to complete the last one. I was the only one to complete all the levels.

Overall at the end of the day I felt like falling asleep because my arms, finger and my foot was tired of all the rock climbing.. I thought that it is really important that we use pride and resilience in your everyday life because if you want to be successful we need to not give up. We also had an amazing view this is what it

Bob

This is my 100 word challenge for the week. It has 100 words.

When I came home I saw that my Bob, my cat had eaten my yellow violin that I had brought from this airplane shop in New York when I went on holiday. He is a weird cat, He eats everything in his way once he almost ate the neighbors fence. When I went into the kitchen I saw the fridge door open and everything was eaten. There was food on the ground. So I swept it up. Later on that day I decided to take Bob for a walk around the park. Everyone who saw Bob started to back away.

100 word challenge

This week Rimu class have been doing the 100WC. This is my one which has 100 words in it. This is something that people all around the world do and we get comments from teacher and students from different countries. Also, it makes us think lots about our vocabulary.

Once upon a time a old man was bored so he decided to go for for a walk through the park with his neighbour. On their way they saw a street magician doing magic to the children. So he decided to ask the magician that ‘if magic is real then turn me into a statue. And the magician said that's what she said and the man was magically turned into a statue. Everyone around him was amazed and started to clapping. So his friend had to carry him/statute to his how and just left him there. And he died.
